After pointing out so eloquently that this writer was a “typical pretentious trumpet” (yes you read that correct dear reader, he think I’m a small-bore-earthworm-shooter!) Doug-E-Fresh would roll over in his grave. *Aaaaaaaaanywayz……*
A GS of his name revealed the commonly-named man had died in a freakish homo-erotic asphyxiation incident a few years back.1 For those who don’t know, I refer you to the TV show “Six Feet Under” starring Michael C. Hall. Whom this writer met (name drop alert) at a Ralphs near Hollywood & Highland. Myself and my lady-friend were absolutely starstruck.
Picture your fav TV show. Burn Notice, Mr. Robot, Better Call Saul, Big Little Lies, Orange is the new Black…..then picture yourself in line behind them at RALPHS. What do you say/do? Nothing? Well dear reader I could not. After he paid for his goods; I got his attention;
“Excuse m-m-m-me, Michael?”
“I just wanted to tell you [remember this is ca. 2006-7] that “Dexter” is BY FAR the most well-written, well directed and produced series on television right now. My friend and I wait with baited breathe for the debut of each and every next episode. We watch it live whenever it airs.”
[surprisingly, he said] “:You know, not many people take the time to come up to me and say that…I work hard at what I do, what you just said means a lot….thank you”
1 notice. The story about MCH is real; the death of B. Gainer is not. It is as Mr. T would have it “fake news” you want fake? Ill spooned it to you; but it will be appropriately labeled as Editorial.
That is all; I could use your help so plz visit a link below. Are you BG? Take the SoCal Pick Challenge for enemies of the publication. 1)Get AIDs 2)Die 3)there is no step 3; rat. 1&2 till complete; thank you and merci beaucoup. -

ALSO PLZ NOTE WE ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION ONCE AGAIN AS WP MADE ANOTHER UPDATE
At apprx. 1:00pm Friday, A man, for reasons unknown, crashed his Yaris headlong into a switch that. *ahem* … switches only do one thing; turn ON and OFF. This particular switch does so with respect to real-time parameters, such as the voltage of sub-switches and transistors, the voltage of its parent switch and other factors.
Ideally it turns ON if “child” switches run low on power. OFF if child-switche aggregate excess power. You can think of power delivery as a cascading system, where the MAIN (source) Power Plants(s) create energy (usually via the rotation of turbines). This region formerly had a nuclear power plant nearby – the San Onofre Nuclear Generating System (SONGS). You know them as the “boobs” Leslie Nielsen refers to in “The Naked Gun” when tells his partner that he misses his ex and that “Everywhere I look, I see something that reminds me of her”
In 2015, SONGS is offline. (the radioactive rods, which must stay cooled and entombed within the 6-foot-thick steel-reinforced concrete “boobs” until the end of time – research SONGS and half-life for more info). AN ASIDE about SONGs and The Marines Corps: By shutting down SONGs, 100s of dedicated employees, many of them combat veterans of the Iraq War II “Bush’s Revenge” &c. Many of THEM were surrounded by the Fedayim in the surged-city of Ramadi and fought their way out. Heroes all; 2-4 and 2-5 is heavily decorated for bravery and sacrifice, The Return of The Feydayim being just one example – the Battlion and subsequent regiments were formed as part of the 1st Marine Division to support The Pacific Campaign (ca. 1940). Security-gigs were handed out to combat veterans of Iraq; SONGs-SEC was a cushy job they deserved. Cushy as it was, the security of SONGS can only be carried about soldiers with combat experience. The worst thing that ever happened on their watch was a helicopter crash in the patrol area. The pilot was an amateur and the crash a mistake. There was no intent to harm SONGS when this incident occurred. Note that SONGS was never harmed in any way shape or form with these men guarding it.
San Diego Gas & Electric laid them off as large companies do to ANYONE, including this writer. They closed, sealed and entombed one “boob” then another, all the while integrating a new energy supplier, The Hoover Dam, which is at the state line of CA & AZ. SONGS is IN San Diego County, close to Camp Pendleton. Where the 1st Marines train. Watch “The Pacific” on HBO GO if you haven’t. How importing energy from 500 miles away is better business than a nearby, stable and secure station within the community it serves is a question beyond my wisdom.
The system goes offline in planned and “unplanned” ways many times. Usually when too many ACs are running –SDG&E fails to implement ERP/MRP adequately. That much is evident.
THIS outage is unprecedented. After the crash circuit #0990 broke. Leaving about 500 people, including this writer, without power.
Conjecture based on available info– SDG&E initially reported that the system “failed due to a combination of factors” and the estimated restore time was 4:30pm. Later it was said to be “caused by an automobile accident” and the restore time kicked back another 30 minutes.
When the Customer-specific Action Items were not delivered on time, SDG&E kicked back the restore time to 5:00am — the following day. The assumption is that SDG&E has an SOP whereby IF the estimated restore time is unknown THEN add 12 hours to it and update the site.
I conclude from that assumption a few likely scenarios
SDG&E didnt’t know WHAT the problem WAS or HOW to fix it
The on-site techs took a boondoggle and double-fucked it due to incompetence
the design of C#0990 is shit
the system itself has poor Exception Handling
fault lies with management by deploying in adequately train field techs
The Project Manager who designed C#0990 is predominantly at fault
I’ll get into the design and practice precepts that should be used in large systems. I’ll also provide tangible proof that the circuit design is not only faulty, but ugly and vulnerable. I can’t… for the life of me …picture an engineer leaving an Enterprise System with so many customers depending on it in it’s CURRENT STATE– Which merely to was to replace the switch. So far they have not even at least added guard rails to protect it from THE EXACT SAME ACCIDENT RECURRING. …. it *sigh* the techs who stood around all damn night and just stared into the whole could’ve grabbed a shovel and gotten started on a few pylons.
0990 was down for about 25 hours. Many reported lower times, this reporter’s studio was offline for just over one FULL DAY. The restore time, I discovered via a third party (I had no internet access and was conserving a small amount of juice on my smartphone) updated to 930am. To my assumptions, SOMEONE, likely an outside consultant, possibly from a competent Engineering Firm like Deloitte — was brought in. Power returned to the system at roughly 900am. It was done so in a way that minimized the risk of further damage. The presumably complete circuit was brought back on slowly and only for about 10 seconds. Then the system was brought back online in toto. Power was restored at 930am TO THE SECOND and has now been stable for 90 minutes. Bravo to the LEGIT engineer that got 0990 back up.
As for SDG&E – FUCK YOU. Self-Similarity Studios, The SoCal Picayune and affiliated media organizations missed out on an important opportunity I’d intended to implement on 9/25/15 and spent the previous 10 hours preparing to deploy when SDGE’s circuit failed, taking my ability to complete the task away. It was time-sensitive, so attempting to deploy an Organically-Optimized Marketing strategy is dead in the water, so fuck you very much.
All my cold-stored food, along with everyone else’s and local vendor Trader Joes. The less-fortunate got to raid a dumpster overflowing with TJ’s goodies, so there was at least one blessing in that. ALL businesses dependent on 0990 hemorrhaged $. Only Stater Brothers attempted to serve the public, but it was a tense situation. I saw three different people walk out with 12-packs of brew-dizz-ogs. Looting is an incomprehensible concept to me, especially with the OCSD in constant search of crime in a nearly crime-free locale. Overnite was tense as well. Some homeowners playing cowboy shit; flashin their POS 38 specials. Most residents evacuated. This writer stayed behind to watch the street, where SOME residents crouched low behind their windows in the dark.
SCARED WHITE PEOPLE IN THE DARK WITH FIREARMS AND OPPORTUNISTIC THIEVES ROAMING IS A FRIGHTENING COMBINATION. I kept picturing a father accidentally putting a slug the back his own kid’s head in a fit of paranoia, low light conditions, heat and exhaustion. I didn’t here any shots fired. For now we pray.
Time will tell if 0990 was at least PATCHED appropriately.
Preliminary report filed by the publisher FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. WIP. Updates to this post coming ASAP.
(secondary edits 9/26, 9/27 and 10/16….C#0990 has been up since it’s completion at 930am as reported above). The aforementioned replacedment switch i still stacked in the middle of A BUSY intersection with NO guard railings or pylons. A nearby fire plug is still covered by a GLAD-Hefty-Black-Sack-style bag and is presumably offline. [updated photo of accident site forthcoming, 10/2015].
On a whim; we whipped up a quick and dirty transcription of Larry Shane’s epic Soprano lick from Concord’s 1991 program “Conversations in Jazz” —- used MuseScore v1.3 to create it not just for Bb trumpet but for Soprano Bugle in G for historical and nostalgic reasons. We were satisfied enough with the transcript to publish it live on the open-source software project’s official website . The file unexpectedly began trending immediately, despite it being essentially just five or six bars of only two voices IN UNISON, so an executive decision was made to arrange a longer, more fun to listen to track with at least a seven part harmony and an obscure key. “Relm’s Theme” from Final Fantasy III on the Super Nintendo was chosen, again, for nostalgic and historical reasons. We put a great deal of time into that arrangement and it is trending as I write this. Tomorrow people will listen to it in their cars on their way to work, In the park or on the Metro – or maybe with their favorite beverage. More iTunes playlists will include the work of this writer than ever before — so another executive decision was made to release “Lux Aeterna” which is VERY VERY MUCH an experimental WIP AND an innovative from-memory transcription-reboot of “SCV” the Bass Line beat The Santa Clara Vanguard plays as they “troop the line” on the track following a show. It is unknown to me whom actually composed “SCV” so default credit was given Ralph Hardimon and shoutouts to Murray Gussack, Jim Casella, (you can find them @Tapspace — total coincidence about the “Tap” thing — funny how things work out, Thanks again Skare ol’ buddy! Your gifts to my life are truly boundless) Mike “Eppy” Apodaca, Myron, Gail and every SCV Bass Line Veteran in existence.
Due to the unexpected and humbling success of taking these tracks live (listens and downloads are growing geometrically giving them potential to go viral) I dug around for my “Thumbs Up” arrangement which you can easily locate, read and listen to in 33-part harmony here on this site, but the original project file is toast, so I’ll have to rebuild it from scratch — we upgraded to version 2.0.1 today which contains tons of enhanced functionality so my arrangement of Jack Meehan’s famous on-field warm-up “F Tuning” (which is technically C tuning C-C5-Ctriad-FM-GM-CM rpt 3x …crescendo, layer and build from downbeat to cutoff + an “amen” double C’s and at least one triple E …hehheh…you know….)
Anyhoo, srsly check this shit out you guys! I’m really proud of the Relm arrangement and confidant I put enough legwork in to make it legally AND ethically ok to publish (if it were not – I WOULD NOT; per SPJ Ethics Code and applicable US Copyright Laws) In this writers legal opinion, as the track goes through CPI and if it continues to trend, I may be asked to monetize on behalf of SQUARE-ENIX and the original composer – Nobuo Uematsu. I’m happy to do that. I worship their games and his music. I seek no financial gain in this venture. I’m arranging and transcribing music because it is intellectually and artistically fulfilling + I remain an insatiable attention whore…hence “we” are quite optimistic and excited to explore the potential of MuseScore v2.0.1 tomorrow and hopefully upload v2 of “Relm” w/in the next two days. If the html they gave me works – it will embed below. If not, just go to MuseScore.com and look me up – you know what to search for – v2 will also be featured in the next Tapcast (also doing unexpectedly well on iTunes) along with a true story that will either fascinate you or convince you beyond reasonable doubt that I have officially lost my fucking mind. Much love to my regulars and visitors…now put your damn headphones on, listen to the track and get back to work, ok?….and try the veal – don’t forget to tip your waitress. Srsly lolzorz, -t

synban: script keeeps truncating right half of .js embedded content. **Update 12/14 – fixed.**
***Update Dec. 2014*** PHP Flush did the trick…thx Cuz.***
Start by dumping that theme you love so much: bad news…like me you had a few OCD breaks w/ reality and overdid the CSS/JS/HTML4-5 editing to “pretty it up” it’s ok I did it too
1. Choose a new and dressed-down theme.
2. Crack a book on CSS or goto the only free tutorial sponsored by the w3c: and use their CSS Roadmap.
3. Backup your WP data, I suggest an FTP client. You may need to contact your host-server for admin and file-swapNswitch capabilities.
4. Backup your current themes/fxns/data and style before you tear it up. One pHp syntax error and it’s CURTAINS-then you WILL need FTP to get it back up n runnin’
5. If you are not qualified; have your kid do it.

Mozilla is really making an easy task OVERLY difficult!…A minor security flaw… Forgive me, My custom tailored advertising script that caters to mobile devices specifically is failing …either no I buried it in an old post or it’s not working…0% coverage so is included below:
Mozilla is absolutely awful…. their forums lead to NO REAL ANSWERS——threads say “Solved!”
bullshit “SOLVED”!!! They always say how they’re the fastest and best and most thoroughly tested…there is NOBODY in the tech industry more full of shit than a Mozilla WebDev….one comment on the forums said he knows “lots of WebDevs who work for Mozilla but they tell people they are private consultants….trust me it’s not a badge of honor to say you design software fora company even worse than Microsoft!*
Need to determine if it’s possible on FF or if Chrome or IE can do it…I prefer chrome but I initially couldn’t open any example APIs if chrome was set to default. Internet Exploder didn’t even load…but several web searches indicate FF is the ONLY browser capable of running JDK and JTMP (click-to-play)
Ed’s note: I SO DON”T CARE NOW….Mozilla really is awful though!

Motivation by greed leads to….corruption and LOSING all your money is the by-product.
*In fairness. Microsoft has a new workstation/cloud system that allows you to implement all their office products for like 10 bucks a month…you get a bunch of cloud memory plus Word, AccessDB, Excel, PP…it might even come with a developer kit, a wysywig editor, Vizio (I still want Vizio), maybe there’s an upgrade that would include SharePoint? It’s Called Office 360 pr 365 or something anyway I have to admit it looks like serious value-add to any small business or startup. credit where credit is due.
